Treasure the quiet moments, for with each passing day you will remember-- not the games you play-- but the memories, so tender and fond, and each passing friendship with each special bond. Treasure, not the trivialities, but the time well-spent and then, when the time comes, you will not repent. Fill up your memories with pleasurable things and then when you're old and gray, instead of reminiscing about emptiness, you'll keep lonliness at bay. Instead, you'll have the most wonderfull company, wet dog kisses and cold ice cream cones, each one special and many. Each one different, each one unique. Yet you have a limited amount of time to look over each one. There are some things you just can't count. **wrote this in Science class--hey, i was bored!--my 2nd ever poem!**
