I can not sleep tonight
Because when I lay in my bed it just doesn't feel right
I know it's because I am not next to you
Even though I will be when the week is through
But as I am laying here I think of what you are doing tonight

I miss that smile
That I haven't seen in such awhile
Or that laugh
Which I hear usually on my behalf
I wish I was with you tonight
Because I know in your arms I will feel such a delight
So I look at the moon and say to you...

As I do I look at the stars I wish that maybe
Soon I will be in the arms of my baby
And on that night I can say that tonight...
