I stand in the pouring rain,
Smiling and crying so no one sees my pain.
I used to think I was so strong,
But you had to break me down and prove me wrong.
I believed in fate till the day we said good-bye
The day you tore my heart out and stood there and watched me cry.
The day you proved I truly weak I was,
Nothing breaks me down like saying good-bye to someone I really love does.
