What Is Pain?

What is pain?
Pain is not a cut.
Pain, is when you lose everything,
Your heart, your life, your love.
When you let it all go, without looking for it.
What is pain?
Pain is not a bruise.
Pain, is when you know you fell,
And don't want to get up.
It's when you love someone so much you would die for them,
But, they don't even know you're alive.
What is pain?
Pain is not when you bleed.
Pain is deep; pain is in your soul,
Pain is the biggest hurt of all.
Give me cuts,
Give me bruises,
Make me bleed,
But please,
Please,
Never give me pain!
