Wishing

Wishing

She closed her eyes and wished,
for a day without the rain,
all she ever wanted,
was a day without the pain,
she wanted the sun to shine,
dry up her fallen tears,
to lay in a field of daisies,
that could cover up her fears,
skies of gray were wished to blue,
with clouds of fluffy white,
she would lay in her field of daisies,
for an afternoon delight,
she closed her eyes and wished,
for someone she could hold,
an emptiness that filled her heart,
made her bitter and freezing cold,
her fake smile wouldnâ??t last,
for very much longer,
her walls were crumbling down,
she needed someone to make her stronger,
she didnâ??t know where to turn,
when hot tears streamed down her face,
the only comfort she ever knew,
was a line of red she could trace,
she closed her eyes and wished,
she wouldnâ??t have gone this far,
but she took the step no turning back,
trying to cover another scar,
a crimson river filled her heart,
splashing to the floor,
violent tears carved their way,
she couldnâ??t take it anymore,
a final breath escaped her lips,
and outside it started to rain,
and all she ever wanted,
was a day without the pain.
