Hole in my heart

There's a hole in my heart
Where something should be
I wish that someone
Would fill it up for me

There's a loving that I can't find
It seems on this whole earth
But deep down far inside
It just seems to ache and hurt

I wish that someone
Would take my broken heart
Fix it up with love, not glue
Never rip it apart

But for now and maybe as we'll see
I'll find someone who loves me
Someone who will need me

And then, as I close my eyes
They'll love me for who I am
We'll never say goodbye

But for thought, before it leaves my mind
There'll be a day when I won't cry
And won't get left behind
