Fake smile

After all you put me through
after all the words you said
your voice still rings inside my head

i tell myself to be strong for just a while.
i tell everybody I'm fine and put on a fake smile

they ask me if I'm still hurt
i want to say yes, hes a jerk!

but i just put on my fake smile and say yes I'm fine
besides all things get better with time....doesn't it?
