Waiting

I sit here waiting for you
I sit here wondering if you'll ever
come to get me.
You said all i had to do was wait awhile and then you are mine.But its been years now and still no sign of you.Other girls told me just to forget about you.But i say i cant.You made i promise and i believe it....
I'm still waiting here.The same place where you left me shattered and broken from the last time i waited.I know be for was a mistake of yours.You didn't really mean to keep me waiting that long.Your just not like that.....
Years have pas and still no sign of you yet.I'll bet you'll come the next day...i hope you do.
Yet again more years have past and I'm still waiting.My heart is breaking from being apart from for so long.My mind is racing it keeps telling me that your never coming back.I wont let it lie to me i just wont.......Its been 10 years an still no sign of you yet.I give up.I cant dwell on my past after ten years.you kept me waiting because you knew i would but at the same time you knew you wouldn't comeback to me.I'm done waiting for you.I cant live the rest of my life having you on my mind.The wait is over....i wont be here when you get back...i wont come back.
