She walked with her eyes on the ground,
Having no more goals so she could never feel down.
She was sad nonetheless,
Her heart had done its best.
It broke in half when her last goal was destroyed.
And her pain, her enemies seemed to enjoy.
She was beautiful inside and out,
But her alter ego was hidden behind her mask of doubt.
She felt so lost when crowded by people's unfaithful trust.
The wall surrounding her shattered heart was a must.
Her eyes now lifeless and her colorful clothes now black,
To the world she had turned her back.
It took her weeks to see,
What a corrupted person she had come to be.
Smoking and drinking took over her life,
And what life she had left she almost took with a knife.
She found herself in a hospital room,
Surrounded by a haze of gloom.
She was seen by others now as she was,
But who she was seemed to always have a buzz.
She had turned into them, those unlike herself,
She had done so many things bad, losing her self-wealth.
Her parents cried for her life as they saw this broken child,
Wondering how her heart had gone so wild.
She wouldn't listen anymore,
Thinking the rules were such a bore.
She became worse,
And finally she decided this life of hers was a curse.
As time went on,
Her life slipped, it was almost gone.
Her 'Friends' couldn't see her grief,
They hid behind their own disbelief.
She felt so numb,
And just being alive seemed dumb.
Until one day when she met him,
And only then did she give in.
Her feelings she could feel,
And her heart, it again felt real.
Her mind was full of meditation
And her heart was full of celebration.
What would she have done if he was a day late
And still the world was who she was to hate?
What would you do if all you could feel..
Was the feeling of not being able to deal?
