The Devil's Last Dance [Like It's Your Last]

by Lucy   Jul 20, 2006

Cursed & Bleeding,
A damaged heart continues to beat.

The spotlight fires up the dance floor,
The red lace curtains barricade the windows.

Lies & Promises,
They reunite hand in hand.

A suicidal dance,
One that thou shall not forget.

Step after step,
Hand on hip, Arm on shoulder, dance like it's your last.

The lights slowly die down, Music becomes a history statement,
For she has a secret she's willing to act out.

The elegance of the dance still remains,
She leans on his shoulder and whispers gently in his ear 'Like it's your last'.

Her secret weapon hidden underneath her elegant hair piece,
She whips it out while she continues to dance with the man also know as the Devil.

She reaps his back with the deadly weapon,
It's a tragedy, That can't be forgotten.

He falls into a tragedy for the last time,
The Devil's Last Dance.
