Past the Skies

by Macabre   Jul 20, 2006

Intro Visual- A man in a coal black suit, walks up and puts a can of ashes down before a tree, he begins to speak-

"Well, tree, it's just you and me I guess,
and well, I'd like you to take my wife,
and lift her past these skies,
make her a leaf on your branch,
exposed to the sunlight above,
let her please grow in your love,
and I pray you'll let her go when she's ready...
And tree?
Lift her past the skies,
by giving her your gentle breeze,
let her soar one last time on Earth,
and give her the chance to begin in heaven."

The tree responded,
"I can lift her to the skies, and I can give her
sun and rain, but I can't give her my love.
And I can lift her to the skies,
but soar, she dare not do, because her wings fell off,
in her sadness for you.
To grow her wings back, you must not bed sad, she says.
To make her soar, past these skies, you must not be sad.
I can give her my breeze, but your love gives her wings."
