Shining Knight

I’m writing you this letter
Because I don’t know what to say
It’s hard to explain it
But hopefully I’ll find away

When I’m all alone at night
And need someone to hold
I wish he could be there
To take away the cold

And If I’m ever upset
He’s the first one that I call
Because after talking to him
It’s like there’s no problem at all

When I see him sometimes
I can feel the butterflies
Because he’s so amazing
Even when he lies

And yes okay he broke my heart
Got me into things that are wrong
But he’s changed, like I have
Anyway if he hadn’t I wouldn’t play along

We have both changed so much
That you should see
When we are together
It’s like it’s only him and me

I can trust him with my whole life
And his word I’ll always keep
He’s on my mind all the time
Even when I am asleep

He’s the best friend I could wish for
And one of the greatest guys I’ve met
The day I met this boy
Is a day I never will forget

So do what ever you want
And try as hard as you might
You will never stop me seeing him
For he is my shining knight
