She sitting there listening to him
And she’s wondering once more
Why are we best friends anyway?
Must be some kind of allure
Sometimes she can’t believe it
How incredibly different they are
They say opposites always attract
He makes her shine like a star
But all the bad things he does
And the fact he doesn’t see
That sometimes his fun hurts
His fun that with she doesn’t agree
But then again he’s always there
To make her feel like everything
To trace his fingers on her scars
He lifts her heart makes her sing
She smiles to her self realising
It’s simple, all her wounds he will mend
And there’s no one else on the earth
She’d rather have as a best friend
