Winter Night

Despairing death
harsh winter night
taking her last breath
as the car swerves right

they sit without a care
thinking shes safe
out of the night air
that shes warm inside

darkness takes over with fright
an ear piercing scream
followed by bright flashing light
and that horrible siren

they couldn't believe their ears
their precious daughter dead
after only 16 years
her coffin was now her bed
