Trembles

by emily   Jul 21, 2006

She trembles
Her facial expressions resemble
the look of pure terror
Her life hasn't been easy
She has mistakes, she suffers from error

Sitting in her corner
She realizes its the only safe place left
the only place with no consequence

Darkness foreshadows her body with grace
hiding the thoughts that are playing out roles on her face

She shuts her eyes
and imagines someone who loves her
Who would take her pain away
Tell her that they need her every single day

But loneliness is a hard sickness to defeat
when you know you are getting beat

Fear is a hard thing to overcome
when you've given up

She trembles...

This sounds alot like a rap. I am not sure that is how you wanted it to sound, but I like it like that. Great job.
