You came into my life at the perfect time.
You lifted me up high to the sky.
You have been here for me ever since.
I will keep you with me until I die.

You have helped me a lot, and really made me see.
I can get through things, I just have to believe.
I want to end my life, I want to end it tonight.
But every time I try it puts you in a fright.

I don't mean to hurt you, I don't mean to make you cry
I would take it back if I could, just so you wouldn't have to sigh.
I love you for you, and nothing less.
You are whom I will forever bless.

I need you here to help me through.
I need you here when I want to set myself free.
I need you to take my hand, and grab it tight.
As long as I have you, I will get through this fight.

    Again, the rhyming pattern is off, and it dents this poem a little as I feel it would do better with more of a flow. However, the poem is still beautiful, and obviously your friendship is too :)
