Complicated Love

A love known,
But still unknown.
A love near,
But miles and miles apart.

A cringing thought sometimes,
Loving someone like that.
A welcome feeling though,
Knowing that the love is powerful.

Waiting can be tiring,
Can even create anger.
There's always solace though,
In knowing that there's a reward.

Something wonderful,
But can be extremely taboo.
Sounds like a simple word,
But too complicated to just not do.
