Sit and Think

by ishrah   Jul 21, 2006

I often sit and wonder,
About how many lives we get.
About how thankful we are, I ponder,
And about how much we forget.

We have a lot of things,
But we still tend to complain.
We just keep on wishing,
But never stop and remain.

If someone says I love you,
Just sit and think.
Think about how many people who didn't get an I love you.
Think about how lucky you are, just sit and think.

If you get a birthday present,
Don't wish for a better one.
Just sit and think about how many people didn't get one.
Sit and think, about how many birthdays someone can forget.

We have luck,
But we never seem to comprehend.
We are loved,
But we never seem to understand.

There are a thousand problems everyday,
But there are also those smiles that stay.
Find something that can keep you content,
And smile for a moment.
