U had a cheeky grin
And a cheesy chat up line
My attention u were trying to win
But I did not know whether to give u a chance
I'm not very good at letting people in
So u came and sat next to me
After all the winking had stopped
And tired to make conversation
This really was not a lot
I could tell u were lying
With most of the things u said
Your eyes avoiding eye contact and your face going bright red
In the end u asked for my number
Which I did not give
|did not know whether to trust u yet
But u gave me yours instead

I did not bother ringing u
I was not exactly sure
I had heard little rumours about u
And my friend b4
She said u were asking every1
U did not really care who
Just as long as some one said yes
And u can play them like a fool
But still u kept asking 4 my number
Which I finally gave
But it did not really matter that I regretted it
Cause u lost it anyway

Then u kept on asking me out
So I finally said yes
But the next day, u were dating somebody else
So I really should have trusted my instincts
When I 1st met u
Because u was nothing more then a player
And I was nothing more then a fool
