Self Esteem

Self Esteem

you bring me down,
when you're around
so far i cant breath
its like I'm beneath
a pile of lies,
and deceit.
i have no
more self esteem
cause
you've broken me..

tell me I'm fat,
tell me I'm fake
tell it to my ugly face
everyday sunny i wake

now the sun hides,
in your clouded skies,
i don't realize
the pain's caused by the lies..

lies you've told me
that I've believed
but i have no relief
for I've been deceived,
and now my fragile esteem
has been destroyed,
you've torn me,
after you've sworn to me
that you'd never hurt me..
but now..

you've broken me into
nothing without you
all the lies must be true,
cause I'm truly nothing
with out you
by my side
for me to hide
behind.
for me to cover
what i truly am
inside.

everyone else should look away
don't look at my sullen face
and don't you know
every night i pray
for tomorrow to bring a
sunny day

I'm broken,
torn,
shattered inside
my self esteem has died,
all because you lied,
i truly never knew
that all those lies
you said
weren't true
and i never knew
that because of you
I've died
inside,
where it actually matters

because of you
my heart is shattered.
the ripped pieces
are scattered
among ruins of pain
and my soul is washed
away by the rain,
i will never be the same
you've caused me to be changed
my life's rearranged.

it's insane,
the things you've put me through,
the things you always seemed to do,
to think- i never doubted you
but now,
i know the truth...
