Gods New Angel...R.I.P Dad, I Miss You!

by Tasha Caskey   Jul 22, 2006

..Come with me to this heavenly place,
so you can watch your daughter through every trace..

As God speaks to my dearest dad,
I begin to think of the times we had.
Parks, zoos, and concerts too,
anything you name, I bet we would do.
But now he is gone and it is not the same,
for me I say I am the one to blame.
I did not get a chance to say goodbye,
so here is a chance for me to fly..

...Dad, we had so much fun when you were here,
and now I am incomplete without you near.
I am mad at you for leaving me all alone,
it is hard to believe that you are actually gone.
I would do anything to see you one last time,
but it is so impossible, it feels like a crime.
I just want to express how I feel,
since I did not go to the funeral to see that it is real.
I want you to know that you were my world,
and no matter what, I am always Daddy's Baby Girl.
I miss you so much and I always will,
I wish for this not to be real.
I love you Daddy and keep your arms open,
cause someday soon, we will be together again.

Wow... I can definetly relate to you. I lost my Dad in August. I have a poem on here called "Losing Him". It's about my Dad. I would like for you to read it. Very, very good work! Good job, and stay strong!
