Where am I child?

by Wings Of Flames   Jul 22, 2006

Sewn piece by piece,
Lips of children fair,
Rosy cheeks lain side by side,
To witness bounties of care,

Can you hear them laugh?
In the distance of demise,
Where have the children gone?
Lost with the final rise,

I will not see the light,
As I shut out the world so cold,
There's no time for me to spare,
To leave the past untold,

Where have the children gone?
Into the sun's heated envelope,
Where has my happiness fled?
To somewhere it can cope.

Is this wish granting me serenity?
From this place I call my 'home',
Where have my children gone?
To leave me all alone.

Lovely imagry once again. I loved the opening stanza, it was worded great. Everything flowed really nicely in this poem aswell. I seriously I have nothing bad to say, your work is amazing! ..I'm not sure how many spaces I have left in my favorites list, but if there's enough room, I'm adding you, cause I'd love to keep reading your work. Wowee-- I'm just really amazed! Keep up the great work, kay? 5/5

I just love so sincerely that you could find the answers in yourself. That really tied the poem together.

I think it's very well written and I really don't have much critique to give you for it. It's just well done and a pleasure to read.
