When a new life enters the world,
It creates a new story,
A beautiful little baby,
And parents that sit in glory

He will soon become a toddler,
Just hope the time won't go fast,
You'll actually miss the crying,
But your love will always last

Then he'll become a child,
He'll want to play all the time,
He'll want to go to work with daddy,
And the times will be prime

He'll then become a teenager,
A good student eager to learn,
You will be sitting proud at his graduation,
A good education is what he will earn

Then he becomes an adult,
Getting a job and getting married,
He'll then become the man of the family,
His duties will then become varied

Becoming older and learning more,
But now he is only new to all this,
Give him time to grow and learn,
And then nothing is what he'll miss
