Give you my heart

As the blade falls to the ground
I begin to regret what I've done...
I wish to take the blood from
The blade and put it back
Inside my skin where it belongs...
And to join the skin back together...
But it's just to late...

As the blood begins to poor
From my body to the floor
I wish I never took up that
Knife and slit my chest open...
But it's just to late...

All I wanted to do was cut
Out my heart to give to you...
But it seems I've done so
Much more than that...
You've caused me so much
Pain and heart ache...
Even though I only wanted
You to have my heart...
So I thought that if I just
Gave you my heart I
Wouldn't feel anymore of
The pain you cause me...
But I was wrong...
And now it's just to late...

Staring at the celling I
Reach into my chest to
Pull out my still beating
Heart to give to you...
I've already made the
Cut, so why turn back now?

You enter the room with
Two dozen dark magic roses...
They were my favorite...
And fall to your knees as
You see what I had done...
My heart in hand laying
By a single sheet of paper...
You picked it up and read
The note aloud...
"For you my love...
I give my heart...
The only thing I wished
For you to have...
The only thing that made
Me feel the pain you caused...
You can have it...
For I no longer want it...
I mean why do I have
Any use for something
Oh so broken..."

As you realized what
I had done you
Pick up the knife and
Hold it to your chest...
You scream out
"This is for you my
One and only love...
Though I may have
Caused you so much
Pain and misery...
I loved you more
Than I loved anything..."
Then you stabbed into
Your chest, just below
Your heart, and you
Pulled your still beating
Heart out and dropped
It in my hand...
