I'm the girl everyone sees now
things have changed
but I'm still just me
it seems people care what I say
and want to know how things are
but I'm not going to give in
not to them and their stupidity
my life is not for you
or anyone else
its mine to give and take
they don't even get close
to making the cut
I'm not superficial
thats right your wrong
I belong to me
I'm not snob
or the freak you thought
I'm me
I know this sounds contradicting
this poem and me
but truth be told
you are one who hurt me
you expect me to except you
but I know your motives
and all you who doubt me as me
really have a lot of sanity
now let live my own life
because you will never be part
of this person.

of you will never be as friends,

for fake sympathy,
joy,
or anything you say
