Queen of hearts

by David   Jul 23, 2006

On the doorstep of our romance
Something that is still yet to be
The day you left without me

For greater things

So you believed
You are back now, should I be relieved?
I’m still hurting
Is that to much to conceive

I confessed my love for you
Laid my cards on the table
I learned the moral from this fable

Lied awake, a slave to your resemblance
A joyful prisoner, in your embrace
With that look upon your face

I’d die for one kiss
One second of bliss
To feel the love reflected

To feel it radiate from you

But your path is taken
My hope shaken
As black lips kiss my soul
A dark and sour wetness of coal

Queen of my heart dance away,
Shall you be mine till your dying day?
You leave me in agony
Turn away

Queen of my heart
Let it fade today
Pass through life in to its death now

Let forever rest in peace
For hearts don’t dance eternally, not forever
We cannot have this, last moment together

Words form my agony
Cards are played,
Hope is frayed
Queen of Hearts dances away

This was good.. it showed how you were really feeling and flowed pretty well.. there are a few site errors that you could correct such as "Iâ??d"

Is that to much to conceive
^should be "too" not "to" the first time

Lied awake, a slave to your resemblance
    ^should be "lay" not "lied"

    nice job! 5/5
