What happened to you..

Ill just explain this poem for you cause it may be a bit confusing.
I was best friends with this girl called elyse and a year or so ago we stopped talking... Last Friday I found out she was going to hospital cause shes got anorexia and Im really upset about it cause I still love her and I miss her sorry if this poem sucks but I just had to get it off my chest

We drifted apart I know
Every day I wish that wasnt so
You have new friends and I have mine
I just wish we had given this friendship more time

We used to be best friends, can you remember those days
When we would only care about what each other had to say
All those days that we had so much fun
Lying on the beach burning in the sun
Going to theme parks, riding the scary rides
And laughing so hard that we hurt our sides

You shared your life with me and I shared mine with you
We had some special moments but had some fights to

So when I heard that news yesterday, I started to cry
Although I thought I hated you to myself I could not lie
In my heart I have always cared
And right now Im so dam scared
That you have changed and will never be the same
The person I see I can not relate to you name
Your once beautiful friendly face
Is gone, a ghastly thin one now in its place
Your body is so thin one trip could break you
And I dont know how to help or what to do

I just wish that things could go back to the way they were
I want my best friend back because youre not her
I want to tell you that everything will be alright
To look forward to your future because it looks bright

I just cant find the words to tell you that I care
And watching you go through this is much more than I can bare...
