This is the story of a girl
who couldn't take her pain anymore
she smiles daily, to cover her pain
her friends never knew how she had changed
she lived in a world of spite and hate
she felt this was her only fate
many a time she took a knife
to end her pain, to end her life
but all the time she changed her mind
couldn't bring herself to leave this world behind
but her arms were covered in bloody scars
to show the pain she held in her heart
noone knew how much she suffered
because her smile kept it covered
so well so she now lies on the bed
