In My Dreams

Miles in-between us,
Cut us apart.
We walk hand in hand,
Upon a beach in my heart

Sun setting on your horizon,
Sun rising upon mine.
The space between us
Is but a thin, pencil line.

Loving each moment,
The earth moving around.
2 inches only
Between us is found.

We breathe one breath
One whole are we
Together forever
Is where we will be

You touch my skin,
But break through to my soul
For once in my life
I am completely whole.

Looking deep into your eyes
I can see life divine
You look into my eyes
And see that you are forever mine.

In my dreams
I feel your touch
So soft, so sweet
Which I love so much.

I wake up in the morning
Realizing you are not here
I wait for night and sleep
So you can be near.

    wow you have such talent. this poem was amazing, truly, it was. I am in love right now with someone i live in chicago and he lives in canada, gosh its so hard but i fight the miles that seperate us because i truly love him. If the same thing is happening with you then try your best not to loose him because you should never give up on love. Good luck 2 you and keep writing wonderful poems, take care.
