Italian sonnet

by Darkening Dawn   Jul 23, 2006

The sun rises and sets, logically
the ghost moon ascends and falls unchanging
As that, we are taught to think like the king
we must follow our minds but we mustn't see
So we can't get hurt or pay a great fee
or the taxing of guilt, safe from being
humiliated, devoid of thinking
Your heart's feel doesn't put you on your knee
But what is real life without sweet loves call?
Your mind is simple, painless, incomplete
No emotional risks, nothing at all
No friendships, no reckless chances that treat
No smiles of a chance well took or a fall
So follow your heart, your mind is a cheat
