It's what every girl wants
Someone to be by her side always
Someone to stand up for her...against the taunts
Someone to hold and cuddle her

Someone to hold her hand
Someone who misses her when she's gone
Someone to, when she's having trouble, help her stand
Someone to send her random emails and letters...phone calls and visits

Someone to lean on
Someone to listen
Someone to stay up with until dawn
Someone who loves her to death

A best friend who will always be there
No matter what the cost
A best friend who will always care
No matter how stupid, insane, or overly sensitive it is

To me that's the image of a best friend
You're extremally lucky if you have one
Someone who will be there until the end
And for all of eternity
