Blood stained roses

by nicole   Jul 24, 2006

In yonder valley
heart lays slain
no trace of love there to remain
forever gone lost to memory

no friend in this misery
all alone in the rain
not even blood with still remains
the glint off of steel that ran him through

what posses the rank dignity to strip away what gives such power
tell me its name
so I may not fall into its game

lost love
heart broken
never mended
words unspoken

lost memory
old things fond
never again to sing loves song
never faint clings to hope

falling into deaths frigid grope
the grip that is eternal now
might this poor wretched
heart be shown some kindness before from this world it depart

ice cold rain pelting down
blood stained roses all around
no friend not even a foe
no pity no shame to it shown

loves feelings drowned with the rain
everything beginning to look the same maiden running of so fair
shows small kindness
shows some care

beside grave she knelt and began to weep last faint memory
drifted into fitful sleep
found her next morning

eternally placed a smile
clenching blood stained roses all the while for her only love searched through all trials

he lay in the valley all the while
if only she had known if only she
more kindness had shown
if only she could have said goodbye
but no more tears will she cry

    Author's note: Dear reader,
sorry to be so depressing :p
but I actually was kinda thinking it reminded me of snowwhite in a weird way, anyway, this has nothing to do with me or my life personaly, I actually got the inspiration while sitting on my roof looking at the mountains & grass, it reminded me of a valley, hence the poem, then it just fowed, anyway sorry to keep you, anyway just wanted to let you know in case you thought I was dying or something:p alright, ttyl,

    Jesus bless you*
