Saviour

by Wings Of Flames   Jul 24, 2006

Here he came upon our earth,
A year or more ago,
The angel from the stars of heaven,
All good he was to throw,

He settled down upon the lake,
When the sky was flaming red,
The boat distant for now in peral,
Left to quake the sandy bed,

He stood upon his sandled feet,
And told the sea to hush,
Called the wind to a hault,
For what was there to rush?

He placed one foot upon the glass,
And stood so very still,
Then walked upon the placid sheen,
Much alike a window sill,

Across he left to the boat,
Where he found them all in awe,
Told them not to fret for now,
For no wind is there to raw,

He left then glided to the end,
Until he met the sandy beach,
For this is Jesus in his form,
Only good was he to preach
