Watching the clock,
See the hand,
Go by and by,
Wondering when,
It'll ever stop.

Hoping for the perfect time,
But looking at the clock,
Shows me nothing,
But all the wrong,
Time.

Turning and twisting,
Around the numbers,
Nothing random,
All placed right,
Just going on its route.

Time of the essence,
Essence of time,
Wondering how it'll,
All turn out,
In the end.

Maybe the same,
Maybe different,
But all I know,
Is that Time is,
Everything.
