This poem is sad not only because you have to go through that, but because it is so true to much of out nation. This poem really hits home! It doesn't really seem to flow or have a poetic rhythm, but it's the sheer content and truth that makes this piece stand out. Wonderful write! |

This is quite heart touching. i feel sorry for people who feel they need to be thin to be like everyone else and it must be hard to go throught somethin like that. |

Great job, I hope you are eating now and worrying less about your weight. |
Once again so so emotional but the truth is skinny is not exactly pretty you have to say a big FU** YOU to the things that say you must be that way. I have this AMAZING diet I'm on right now that I learn from my a singer at my youth group it you want I'll give you some more info on it....ever since then I haven't looked at food the same. |

Very nice poem. ryming is not everything. Poetry is from the soul. I think you did well Loretta |

In some ways this poem doesn't make sense but it does send a very important message not to believe in what magazines and tabloids say. The first stanza says so much, it tells us how we are 'supposed' to be and your feelings about it. I can relate to this I'm already skinny naturally but I get upset when I put on weight even though I need to. Keep writing. =] |
