Why do I feel stupid?

I feel stupid because I chose to be vulnerable with you
I feel stupid because I gave a part of myself to you
I feel stupid because I gave you my love unconditionally
But most of all, I feel stupid because I trusted you.

I was an idiot to fall for those lines
I was an idiot to believe that they were true
I was an idiot to actually take your words to heart
But Im a bigger idiot, because I let you into my life

All this is a physical tattoo
Forever branded on my heart
So the next time I am tempted to fall in love again..
Love..meet Idiocy and Stupidity.
A lesson learned for life.
