I try to prove to you
That I'm not a waste of a soul

That I'm not a waste of a life

I just try to prove
My worth to you
But you just ignore
The fact that I'm trying so hard

Why is this always my problem?
You just ignore that I'm here
Trying to prove you wrong
But you don't see it

I'm just trying to prove to you
To prove to myself
That I'm more than a waste
That I'm more than I think I am to the world

So far I'm halfway there
I'm trying my hardest
To get all the way there
And prove everyone wrong and that I'm not a waste
