My Romeo

by Dominique   Jul 25, 2006

This is the day I cry, the day I want to die.
The sun sets on our love, bringing tears to my eyes
I can still feel your loving arms, your sweet kiss on my lips.
How I long to hear your voice, to be touched by your fingertips.
I feel like a Juliet, whose Romeo has run away.
Do you here my cries? Do you share my dismay?
My pillow is a rock, where all my tears fall.
My room is a prison, with all your pictures on my wall.
My clothes are mismatched, my hair is a mess.
I don't feel I deserve, to dress to look my best.
Tell me, am I crazy, or am I blind?
Why did I let you go, when you're one of a kind?
My beloved Romeo, don't let the curtain close.
Don't forget your Juliet, for she can't let you go.
