I'm trying to smile and be the best person I can be
I'm trying to get it together so I can be the old me
I'm trying to make it in this hard world
I'm trying to keep my life interesting so I won't get bored

I'm trying to love the way I should love
I'm trying to do my best so when I die I can go to heaven up above
I'm trying to keep sane so I don't lose my mind
I'm trying to be loyal,caring,and kind

I'm trying to be happy so I can be okay
I'm trying to do what I can so you won't stray
I'm trying my hardest to make you proud of me
I'm trying to remember what you used to be

I will always try to please you
I will always try to help you
No doubt about it, I will always love you
No doubt about it, my heart will always be yours
