Tide Of Misfortune

by End Of Eternity   Jul 26, 2006

Castle of sand beneath the dirt of my feet
ruining the dreams of tide to wash it away
the only thing i called my own with pride
reconstructing again in my nightmares everyday

wounded heart with the passion of endless sky
embracing my soul to keep it as red as wine
eyes have blinked at the very moment of glory
and the strange desires for life are no more mine

do you know, somethings just never change
in a world where air is bound by endless pain
faces look strange but destiny remains the same
in a world where there is nothing for us to gain

castle of dreams beneath the kiss of misery
breathing heavily to live for one more day
inside a fragile soul there is still a hope to see
the tide of misfortune turning the other way

Does the tide of misfortune turn the other way? I hope so.. You have certainly shown there is hope that it may. Well done on such a thought provoking poem. xx
