I have no reason

Can i tell you a secret
something no one knows?

i cut myself to sleep some nights
but i no longer know why
my life is far from easy
it gets worse each day
but i don't know the reason
why i do nothing but bleed
just to ease my pain

its killing the ones that care
as they think its their fault
my friend once told me
"it hurts that i cant take away your pain"
this made me stop to think
and stop my way of ease
