It's been a long road
To be where I am
I've let go of the past
I'm doing the best I can

Im starting to see the light
Through all the dark clouds
The sun is breaking through
And the birds are singing loud

Like the morning dew
Or how the flowers bloom
It's like a new begining
But still these feelings loom

I'll keep this fight up
I won't let it get me down
I hope that you know
That I need you around

To help me get better
To push me to be strong
To help me to forget
To help me right these wrongs

It's been a long road
But its been worth the pain
I'm starting to get better
