Late At Night

by Chelsea Campbell   Jul 26, 2006

Late at night lying in bed.
Memories & mysteries in my head.
Wanting to cry, but holding it in.
I love him so much, but it is a sin.

The man beside me is so beautiful.
I am making him suffer, it is pitiful.
I want to stop time.
Just so I can make up my mind.

It will get better, that's what I say.
Even though it's a lie I live everyday.
Who am I & why am I here?
I am so strong but yet I live in fear.

Late at night & cannot sleep.
It is his heart I cannot keep.
Cannot let go, have to fight.
It's just another day, another late night...

You show real honesty in this poem
being torn between what you want and whats right is not always easy.
    good job.
