My New Enemy: Gravity.

by Thoughtless Consideration   Jul 26, 2006

Crying, crying,
Lying, lying,
I can't take this.

I can't live a lie.
I won't live a lie.
But soon I'll have to.

I had some great friends.
I guess everything comes to an end.
But I don't want to pretend.

I was living in a fantasy,
And now I must face reality.
I'm arguing with gravity,

As I crash painfully to the ground.
I refuse to make a sound,
My frustration is heaped up in a mound.

This isn't fair.
I admit I'm scared,
Not that you actually care.
