Because Of Them, But Mostly Him

by Megan   Jul 26, 2006

Wearing my heart on my sleeve
I try so hard not to believe.
I inflict more pain
As I scream his name in vain.
I keep carving into my skin
With my favorite straight pin.
Since you wanted to be fake
You put my life at stake.
I hope you're happy,
Because I'm going to make this snappy.
Going weak
Feeling like I'm being beat.
My head goes into a spin
As I drop the crimson tipped pin.
It's on the floor
Rushing for the door.
Trying to crawl
While trying not to bawl.
I'm doing this because of them,
But mostly because of him.
