He Never Answered Me

Sitting on the floor
arms around my knees
Rocking back and forth
God, see my plea's

Looking around me
darkness doesn't fade
I am always alone
except for my loving blade

I stare at the smoothness
he's always been my friend
never to betray me or desert me
he'll be here forever, until the end...

But he doesnt solve my problems
or make them go away
Sometimes he just makes me hurt
just bleed another day

Tears falling quietly
breathing becomes so weak.
Silently I am screaming
But no words come to speak

Mouthing hopes to no one
Ive never had anyone around
whispering prayers to my blade
blood falling to the ground

My secrets are told to darkness
only she knows my pain
She understands my weakness
in her arms I remain

Sitting on the floor

Rocking back and forth
God, feel my plea's

Don't you see me shaking?
And those scars along my arms?
Why don't you hold my close
and stop me from self-harm?

Are you sitting back
to see what I just do?
I need someone to hold me close
Why was I praying to you?

They say your son suffered for our sins
So please help me with mine now...
Let me know you feel this pain
just someway, somehow...

Salty liquid brushing against my lips
tear stained crimsons dripping on my hips
Bloody wrists, bleeding down my arms
the metal is reflecting morbid charms

Are you really there?
Do you taste the pain in the air?
The salty rust of blood and tears
feeding the life into my fears.....

Waiting for an answer
that I know will never come.
Begging for redemption
for wanting to be numb.
