Silence
Our silent house
We see no violence
Hear no scream
There's false safety
As the tension builds

Who will crack
Who will leave
These questions stand
Answered for a time
Then it's all reset

How do you escape
A routine not set
How do you brake
Some thing unreal and fake
A picture of perfection
Timeless and old
In the background you know
There's a secrete untold

Sober and ancient
Hidden in closed hands
Look at the tight fist
And there it will stand

I can't wait to leave
This thick air
It smothers my throat
And I almost don't care
For this wasn't placed on purpose
It was simply leaked thoughts
And so I still breath it
Ignoring its faults

We all have our temper
Long and short fuse
How many attempts needed to light it
Is a number often confused
The air could smother the fire
Or fuel it more
But still I find it safest
Behind closed doors

I can open a window
And let the air out
Turn on the radio
And forget my brains shout
