Why Now?

The sky turned dark and the rain came down
Thunder in the sky lightning hit the ground
I pulled you close to ease my fear
Dribbling down my cheek a single tear
How dare you leave me on an awful night
Cause you know these storms give me such a fright
If you cared for me even just a little bit
You wouldn't just dump me and leave me in this awful fit
Hold me please till the storm passes by
If you leave me now alone i'm bound to cry
Cry for you love that i once have known
Even though your love for me was never shown
I loved you to the ends of the earth and back
But now i feel your love for me was just a silly act
So take your fake love and leave me be
It's ok i'll survive trust me you'll see.
