Pain in the Sunset

Watching the sunset in front of me
Reminds me of you;
Of all you've ever done to me,
Of everything we've been through.

I wonder what it would be like,
If I still loved you and you loved me,
If my heart you didn't strike,
And if you watched this with me.

But as I watch the sunlight fade,
I also know that we'll never be.
My love for you has slowly decayed,
Since you broke this heart inside of me.

As the last lights peek over the skyline,
