Cast the First Stone
Walk through life, feel the stares, Strain to hear the whispers,
Of those living a perceived life of self denial called their perfection
Their version of an altered reality, something called convenient blindness
So where do you stand? When you don't measure up
Who do you turn to? When you feel incomplete
No one. They wouldn't understand your self doubt
Your imperfections. Something, to them that will never remain obsolete
Judgment, everyone is ready to freely offer it
Guilt, suffer in silence, Condemnation, yours to burn yourself in
Jesus, on which side of the fence do you sit?
When your Own creation blatantly accuses another of sin
So, I dare you, cast the first stone, aim it at my heart
I've got nothing to lose, my badge of imperfections laid bare
Look straight into my eyes, I'm your target. Realize one thing when your start
I am you, and you are me, of that are you aware?
